How I Used Them:
- I filled in my brows and cleaned up the edges with concealer on a flat brush.
- I primed my lids with concealer, not setting them.
- The black shade in the L.A. Colors palette is not very black, and I wanted a grayish-blackish color, so I took that one on a small, dense, flat brush and packed it around my lid.

- I then took a bit of a fluffier brush, but still small, and blended that out.

- Next, on a flat brush, I took the same concealer and put it all over my lid, creating a sharp line in an arc.

- I then took the red liquid lipstick and put that over top of the concealer, again on a flat brush.
- To set that, I took the red shade in the NYX palette on the same flat brush and put that over top of the lipstick.

- Next, I took the liquid liner and drew two deformed circles above the red for Mickey’s ears.
- With my white pencil liner (a liquid liner would be easier, but I don’t have one) I drew two ovals on the red for his buttons.

- Once the main part of my eye was done, I finished the rest of my face. I applied foundation and blended it, making sure I had no harsh lines. Blending the foundation down onto the neck is key.
- I put my concealer under my eyes, along the bridge of my nose, in the center of my forehead, and on my chin. My concealer is always one shade lighter than my foundation so it brightens where it’s applied.
- I set my under eyes with my Airspun powder, using a rounded face brush that fits under my eyes. I also set anywhere I put concealer with this brush, using more than needed, and later wiping it off to really set those areas into place.
- With a large, fluffy brush, I lightly set the rest of my face, then swept away any extra powder on my face. If you are setting a dewy or hydrating base, use stippling motions with your brush. I used circular motions because it’s faster and since I had a matte foundation on; it sets itself a bit, so swirling the brush lightly won’t disturb it.
- With a smaller, round face brush, I applied contour just below my cheekbone, and on my jawline blending it out a lot with tight, circular motions, blending up more than down.DO NOT USE TOO MUCH. This will kill your whole face, and be extremely frustrating. Only get the smallest amount, and tap your brush off to get rid of the excess product. You can add a lot easier than you can take away product.
- With another large face brush (this one slightly denser than my powder brush) I bronzed my jawline, under my cheekbones, and around my forehead to add warmth and depth to my face.
- With a round brush, I applied blush to apples of my cheeks and brought it back to just above my bronze, but still in the bronzer a bit to blend them together.
- Using a yellow highlighter (it’s limited edition and is no longer available) I highlighted my cheekbones, my nose, upper lip, chin, inner corner, and brow bone.
- Now that my face was done, I set it with setting spray, waited until it was almost dry so I didn’t pull up the makeup, then tapped it in lightly with my beauty sponge. When your setting spray is wet, your makeup is vulnerable, so try to limit movements of your face.
- On a small dense brush, I put the yellow shadow on my lower lash line and blended it out.
- With my black pencil liner, I sketched out the silhouette of Mickey.
- With the liquid liner, I filled it in.
- I put my red liquid lipstick on the back of my hand, and, with a very small, round, liner brush, I drew hearts.
- Finally, I applied the lipstick and mascara, and was done.
