Rosy Faced (be prepared)

Whether I’m wearing lots of makeup, or no makeup, I’m still the same person inside.

  • Wet n Wild megalast Liquid Catsuit matte lipstick-shade: Missy and Fierce
  • e.l.f. concealer and highlighter duo (I used the liquid highlighter end of this in a small, thin brush only because I don’t own a white eyeliner)

How Used Them:

  • I filled in by brows with the brow pencil
  • I covered my lid with the Fit me concealer
  • I applied the shade Wheat in the Smashbox Palette to my creases
  • I applied the shades Desert and Earthy to my outer corner and tightly in my crease, blending them up in to the Wheat
  • I started from the inner corner of my eye and applied concealer, following the shape of my eyeball, until a 3/4 of the way to outside
  • I applied the gold shade in the Broadway palette on top of the cut crease I just created with my concealer
  • I blended with brown with the gold where they met at the outer corner
  • I applied my face primer over my entire face
  • I applied my foundation and blended it out, being careful not to get it in my brows or on my lids
  • I applied concealer under my eyes, on my nose, chin, upper lip, and the center of my forehead (the concealer is lighter than my foundation so it highlights my face where I apply it)
  • I blended out the concealer so there were no harsh lines
  • I set my concealer with a medium sized brush, coated in my setting powder
  • I took a large, fluffy brush and lightly dusted the setting powder over my entire face
  • I took a smaller, round face brush and used the bronzer to contour my cheekbones
  • Using the same bronzer I took a large, fluffy brush and swept bronzer around my forehead, under my cheekbones, and on my jawline (some of the colors on my face don’t show in the picture the way they did in real life, so if it looks a bit off, I blame the low quality camera)
  • I applied a bit of blush to the apples of my cheeks, bringing it back just above my bronze and contour
  • I used my highlighter to highlight my cheekbones, just below my eyebrow, and the inner corner of my eye. I also highlighted my forehead just a tiny bit.
  • I misted my face with the setting spray, letting it sit for a moment than lightly tapping it in with my beauty sponge
  • I took a small, stiff eyeshadow brush and started to outline to shapes of the roses on my face wit the red lipstick, filling them in once I had the outline.
  • I used the eyeliner to make the petals
  • I highlighted the petals with a white, liquid highlighter on a thin, small brush (a white eyeliner would work better for this)
  • I took an angled eyeliner brush and created the vines/stems, and used a flat, round-tipped brush for the leaves, using the green eyeshadow in the NYX palette
  • I traced the leaves and vines/stems with the back liner
  • I applied the red lipstick on lips, which is where it is intended to go
  • I used the small, thin brush I used for highlighting the petals, wiped it off, and used it with the red lipstick to create the hearts on my face (I think it would have looked just as good without the hearts)
  • I used the black liner to make the black hearts
  • Last of all, I curled my lashes and applied mascara!
