I love playing with makeup. Makeup has become a thing where it’s an art form. It’s not a thing where you use it because you need to feel beautiful or because you don’t like the way you look.

How I Used Them:
- I filled in my brows, set them with brow gel, and cleaned up the edges with concealer on a flat brush.
- I primed my lids with concealer, not setting them.
- Then, with the shade Canyon in the Smashbox palette (a warm, brown, dark shade) I put it in the crease and brought it up in a curve at the end.
- I removed the product from my lid under that brown shade with makeup remover on a Q-tip, just to avoid cakeyness and too much product.
- I then took concealer on that flat brush again and put it under the brown where I just removed the product.
- With the lightest green shade in the NYX palette, I put it on the outer third and the inner third of that blank space with flat fluffy brush, then with a very small, very dense flat brush to get it cleanly on the edges.
- Then with a larger flat brush, I took the first highlighter shade in the Revolution palette, because it has a green shift to it, and put that in the center third of my lid.
- I put the brown on my lower lash line, then the green in the center, and finally I put the green highlighter in my innermost corner and brought it under to meet the green shadow.
- I got a bit carried away with the liner here 😂. I winged it out, but not a huge wing, then brought it almost all the way to the inside of my top lid, and brought along the lower lash line as well.
- I finished the eyes off with putting the green-shift highlight on my brow bone.
- I applied the Maybelline primer to my t-zone.
- I applied foundation and blended it, making sure I had no harsh lines. Blending the foundation down onto the neck is key.
- I put my concealer under my eyes, along the bridge of my nose, in the center of my forehead, and on my chin. My concealer is always one shade lighter than my foundation so it brightens where it’s applied.
- I set my under eyes with my Airspun powder, using a rounded face brush that fits under my eyes. I also set anywhere I put concealer with this brush, using more than needed, and later wiping it off to really set those areas into place.
- With a large, fluffy brush, I lightly set the rest of my face, then swept away any extra powder on my face. If you are setting a dewy or hydrating base, use stippling motions with your brush. I used circular motions because it’s faster and since I had a matte foundation on; it sets itself a bit, so swirling the brush lightly won’t disturb it.
- With a smaller, round face brush, I applied contour just below my cheekbone, and on my jawline blending it out a lot with tight, circular motions, blending up more than down.
- DO NOT USE TOO MUCH. This will kill your whole face, and be extremely frustrating. Only get the smallest amount, and tap your brush off to get rid of the excess product. You can add a lot easier than you can take away product.
- With another large face brush (this one slightly denser than my powder brush) I bronzed my jawline, under my cheekbones, and around my forehead to add warmth and depth to my face.
- With a round brush, I applied blush to apples of my cheeks and brought it back to just above my bronze, but still in the bronzer a bit to blend them together.
- Using that same green-shift highlighter, I highlighted my cheekbones, my nose, my upper lip, and chin with a small, tapered face brush. I then went over my whole face with a large fan brush to blend that existing highlighter, and add some to my forehead and cheeks.
- Now that my face was done, I set it with setting spray, waited until it was almost dry so I didn’t pull up the makeup, then tapped it in lightly with my beauty sponge. When your setting spray is wet, your makeup is vulnerable, so try to limit movements of your face.
- Next I applied a warm brown lipstick and actually put the green highlighter over that, my mascara, and was done!
