How I Used Them:

  • As always, I started out by filling in my brow with my pencil (I only did one eye), setting it with my brow gel, and sharpening the bottom edge with concealer on a flat shadow brush.
  • I covered my lid with concealer, using it as a base for my shadow. I didn’t set it, I rarely do because I find when I set it, the shadows don’t stick, blend and show up as well.
  • On a small, long, shadow brush I took the red shade and packed it onto the inner part of my lid.
    • I followed the red with orange, then yellow, then green, then blue, then finally, purple. As I applied them, I did it in a dome shape, following my eye, but going a bit higher.
    • For every shade of the rainbow, I used the same brush, I just wiped it off between each color.
  • With a very small, round, long, shadow brush, I made the general shape of the “drips” with concealer, then went back and fully shaped them out. I pulled the excess concealer up and blended it with a fluffier brush to smooth it out.
  • I took another small brush and set the fresh concealer with setting powder, making sure to keep my lid open and flat, so the concealer didn’t transfer or crease.
  • I took the darkest brown shade in the smashbox palette (Canyon) on a short, flat, rounded shadow brush and put it around the drips to create a shadow.
    • With another very small, long, round brush I blended the brown shade down.
  • I put concealer under my eye, blended it, set it, and added the rainbow colors to my lower lash line, connecting them with the top colors.
  • I curled my lashes and applied mascara.
  • I highlighted my inner corner a bit, then decided I wanted to put a sparkly gloss on the upper part, then with a small brush, I put it on the drips.
